EXOTIC-PURPLEHEART
The urns and accessories in the "Attica" series are crafted of non-endangered
exotic wood using fundamental techniques. The wood species is purpleheart which is
indigenous to Central & South America and noted for its dense grain pattern and rich
burgundy color.
Concentric rings are cut in the sizes and angles required to achieve the overall shape.
They are joined together and meticulously hand-sanded to a luxuriously smooth texture. The
pieces are not stained; they are sealed with five coats of urethane and a final
appllcation of paste wax. No color or grain patterns are ever identical
.
