ALABASTER
The urns in the "Avalon" series feature white and pink alabaster; They are hand-turned on a lathe. No color or veining patterns will ever be identical.
Named after Bast, the ancient Egyptian goddess of music and dance, alabaster has been revered through the ages as a stone of magnificent beauty unsurpassed quality and precious value.
Each individual size urn is crafted from a forty pound piece of solid stone and requires an average of twenty-five hours to turn, shape, sand, buff and finish. The lids are turned from black wonderstone and have threaded bronze fittings.
