PEWTER-HAND FABRICATED
The urn and accessory pieces in the "Charleston" series are hand fabricated from pewter in a combination of angular and cylindrical design styles. A brass accent on the lid provides a tasteful and elegant contrast. Each piece is hand polished to a brilliant mirror-like finish.
Impressions directly into the surface of the pieces are made using actual fronds from a fern.
Modern day pewter crafting is done using many of the same basic techniques as those employed by Colonial American artisans to create some of their most beautiful and timeless pieces.
