The "Ventura" series features handblown glass pieces crafted in classic profiles combined with bold contemporary designs & colors.
Glass items were made in the Egyptian culture nearly four thousand years ago. In the Roman Empire, hand-blowing glass was perfected.
The rich reds, velvety purples, vivid blues, & crisp greens are obtained when
metallic oxides of gold,
cobalt and chromium are added to the raw materials from which the glass is made.
The polished pewter and brass lids are individually hand fabricated for each unique urn, no two pieces will ever be identical.
