The "Alpha to Omega" series
name is interpreted as meaning "from beginning to end". The design of the
hand crafted lid is meant to reflect that interpretation as a "bridge of life"
that leads from its beginning to its end. But, bridges go both ways, so what ends begins
again. The pieces are individually
hand crafted and thrown.
The masterful use of a copper and frit glaze on each piece in a raku firing creates a velvety texture in vibrant cool colors of blue, purple, and green and soothing warm colors of red, orange, and yellow. The random patterns and colors are never identical.
