The urns in the "Botanica"
series are rooted in the organic beauty of nature as reflected in the petals
of the lids and the fluid forms of the bases. They are hand crafted and sculpted so that
each gentle curve
and delicate line blends together perfectly to create the overall designs of the pieces.
The lids are
individually sculpted by hand, no two are ever exactly alike.
The pastel hues & primary shades of the underglazes are individually air-brushed by
hand in layers
and come to life in the kiln to create realistic depth and dimension.
